The UL Big Pocket Shirt is a really clever design courtesy of Japanese ultralight pioneers, Yamatomichi. Four years in the making, it’s a development of the brand’s UL Shirt, with two large front pockets added into the mix, which are designed for carrying items like maps and tickets without getting in the way of backpack straps. 

Created for long days on the trail, it’s made from a polyester fabric called Shadow Rip™ that’s ultra-lightweight, breathable and quick-drying. It’s wrinkle-free too, so you can stash it in your rucksack without it getting too creased. What else? The snap buttons allow for quick opening when on the move, while the collar can be worn up with a button fastening keeping the sun off your neck.
